Assassin's Creed Unity on PS4 is the first fully next-generation Assassin's Creed game, developed by Ubisoft and released on November 9, 2014. Set in Paris during the French Revolution from 1789 to 1794, the game follows Arno Dorian, an Assassin seeking redemption as he navigates the violent and anarchic period from the storming of the Bastille to the execution of King Louis XVI. Unity features completely remade stealth and combat mechanics, multiplayer co-op where four players can work together, customizable weaponry and clothing, enhanced parkour and climbing, and the ability to control the crowd and bring civilians into battle. The game offers extensive exploration of revolutionary Paris including Notre-Dame cathedral, the Bastille, and numerous guillotine locations, with the Dead Kings DLC expanding the experience with a new storyline and area.
