WWE 2K17 on PS3 is the 17th installment of the WWE 2K series, developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, released on October 11, 2016 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is the direct sequel to WWE 2K16 and was followed by WWE 2K18. The PS3 version features 100+ WWE Superstars including current roster, legends, and Hall of Fame athletes, with all 30 WWE Superstars from the current roster plus 70+ legends. The game includes the new 'Showdown' mode where players face off in a series of challenges, enhanced 'Create' mode with new customization options, and improved gameplay mechanics.
