Game Overview

Grand Theft Auto V is a landmark open-world action-adventure game set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and the surrounding hills, countryside and beaches. The game blends storytelling and gameplay in new ways as players repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game's three lead protagonists: Franklin, a young street hustler; Michael, a retired professional bank robber; and Trevor, a violent maniac. The trio risk everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.

This is the original, groundbreaking experience as it was released on the PlayStation 3, featuring the complete single-player story. Please Note: The official servers for Grand Theft Auto Online on the PlayStation 3 were shut down on December 16, 2021. The single-player story mode remains fully playable.
