Game Overview
Brink is an immersive first-person shooter that blends single-player, co-op, and multiplayer into a seamless experience. The game is set on the Ark, a man-made floating city, a supposed utopia that is on the verge of all-out war. Torn by social unrest, the city's population has split into two factions: the wealthy citizens policed by Security, and the impoverished Resistance. Players must choose a side and fight for the future of humanity.
Brink revolutionized first-person movement with its groundbreaking S.M.A.R.T. (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain) system, allowing players to effortlessly parkour through the environment. Combined with deep character customization, class-based combat, and dynamic, objective-focused missions, Brink attempted to redefine the modern shooter by breaking down the barriers between different ways to play.
